Can I use another player besides QuickTime?
No. You will need to use a QuickTime Player to view the video content on the Blue Zone. You can download a free QuickTime Player for either Macintosh or Windows-based PC by selecting the following link http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
If I prefer not to register with QuickTime can I still download a free QuickTime Player?
Yes. Just unclick the "QuickTime News" box and the "I would like to receive Apple news" boxes, without putting your name or email in the boxes. You can then download QuickTime without registering.
How do I know if the BYU Blue Zone will work on my computer?
Select the TRY THE BLUE ZONE link on the front page of byucougars.com. This will take you to a page that explains the minimum system requirements needed to use the Blue Zone on both Macintosh and Windows-based PC computers. There are three video clips provided for you to test your computer system. If your test fails, make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements.
How do I know if I should select High or Low when viewingthe video content on the Blue Zone?
If you are using a slower Internet connection you need to select the LOW option. If you have high-speed access to the Internet, such as a cable modem or LAN, you can likely select the HIGH option.
Will BYU Blue Zone work with a dial-up modem?
You are likely to encounter problems if attempting to connect with a dial-up modem. We recommend a broadband connection such as DSL, cable modem, or a LAN connection.
Does it matter which web browser I have when using the Blue Zone?
You can use any standard web browser. If you are having trouble you may need to download a newer version of your browser. You can do a free download by selecting either of the following links

How do I get a user name and password to enter the Blue Zone?
After clicking TRY THE BLUE ZONE and testing your computer system on the free video clips, select the "Click Here to sign up" link. You will establish a user name and password for your BYU Blue Zone account while filling out the sign-up information.
If I am already a member of the Cougar Club, do I have to sign up online to get a user name and password for the Blue Zone or do I already have access?
If you are already an active member of the Cougar Club, you will receive a user name and password directly from the Cougar Club to access the Blue Zone. If you haven't received your user name and password, please contact the Cougar Club at 801-422-2583 or cougarclub@byu.edu.
Do I have to join the Cougar Club to gain access to the Blue Zone?
Yes. The Blue Zone is a benefit available exclusively to members of the Cougar Club. The Blue Zone allows Cougar Club members to enjoy a comprehensive behind-the-scenes look at the BYU Athletics programs they help support, whether they live in Utah or many miles away.
